George Wu is a venture builder and early-stage investor with deep experience across startup ecosystems, corporate innovation, and technology commercialization. He has helped launch and scale over a dozen ventures spanning AI, fintech, logistics, and deeptech, working closely with founders, corporate partners, and institutional backers.

George previously led venture growth at Koru, the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan’s venture studio, and served as Head of Ventures at Disruptive Edge, where he built co-creation frameworks and milestone-based support models for corporate-backed startups. Earlier, George oversaw commercialization initiatives at Dalhousie University, supporting science-driven ventures from lab to market.

George holds an MBA from Ivey Business School and a B.Com from the University of Virginia.
