Spatial Capital portfolio company ConeLabs has been acquired by Consor, an engineering firm with more than 1,800 professionals across the United States and Canada.

The acquisition brings ConeLabs' AI-powered infrastructure inspection technology into an established engineering organization, creating an opportunity to deploy its capabilities across larger and more complex infrastructure programs.

Built by Engineers, for Engineers

Inspecting and maintaining infrastructure remains a labor-intensive process. Engineers collect enormous amounts of field data, but translating that information into actionable insights can be slow, fragmented and expensive.

ConeLabs developed a better approach. Its platform transforms field imagery into high-resolution digital twins, enabling inspection teams to identify, measure, map and report on defects across bridges, roads, utilities and buildings.

By combining computer vision, AI and spatial data, ConeLabs helps engineers turn visual information into the insights needed to assess infrastructure condition and prioritize maintenance.

Backing ConeLabs Early

Spatial Capital led ConeLabs' pre-seed financing, recognizing the potential for computer vision and spatial AI to transform how critical infrastructure is inspected and maintained.

We were drawn to a team with deep engineering expertise, a clear understanding of the problem, and a practical approach to bringing AI into established industry workflows.

Since investing, we've worked closely with Albert Mansour and the team as they developed the business and pursued opportunities to scale their technology.

A Natural Fit with Consor

Consor brings extensive engineering expertise and established relationships across the infrastructure sector. Combining ConeLabs' technology with Consor's engineering capabilities creates an opportunity to bring AI-assisted inspection directly into the workflows used to design, inspect and maintain critical infrastructure.

For ConeLabs, joining Consor provides a path to broader adoption and greater impact.

Physical AI in the Real World

At Spatial Capital, we invest in technologies that enable machines to understand and interact with the physical world.

We believe some of the most important applications of AI will emerge in industries where software must interpret complex physical environments and help people make better decisions. Infrastructure inspection is a clear example.

ConeLabs demonstrates how machine perception, computer vision and spatial intelligence can address practical challenges in established industries. Its technology was designed around the needs of engineers working in the field, where accuracy, reliability and usability matter.

The acquisition reflects the growing importance of these capabilities within the engineering and infrastructure sectors.

Congratulations to the Team

We've had the privilege of working closely with Albert Mansour and the ConeLabs team as they built the company and navigated this next chapter.

Congratulations to everyone at ConeLabs and Consor. We look forward to seeing the technology reach more engineers and infrastructure projects.
